Peeptacular, no? So every year I tell myself, 'I'm gonna enter this year.' But I never do...until this year...well sorta. I narrowed it down to two scenes...Peep-peep-Longstocking or McPeepland. I have a thing for Grimace, so McPeepland sealed the deal.
I know we've all made a diorama at some point in our elementary school days, but I don't recall it ever being this onerous! Below is a picture of what I was trying to accomplish:
And here is what got done:
These are great! Love that Project Peepway up top. You did a nice job on your McDonald's characters!
ReplyDeleteI love the Project Peepway diorama as well. Too bad they forgot to add the baby-bump on Heidi. ;)
ReplyDeleteYou are unbelievably patient. It would have taken me ALL day to make just one of your creations, and I would have gotten completely frustrated and ended up biting the head off of it!! Good job. Can't wait for 2011 to see what you make.
ReplyDeleteIs that Jesus standing behind Mayor McCheese in a white leisure suit?
ReplyDeleteOh jeez! I'm literally LOLing over here! I'm a bit bummed to see that Birdie's not getting any love. But excellent job! Kevin: I think that *is* Jesus rocking a leisure suit.
ReplyDeleteMayor McJeez-us.
ReplyDeleteJust kidding. It's actually colonel sanders before he branched off to start his own biz.
Seriously? A peeps diorama contest? Obviously I live a very lame existence if I've never heard of this. Maybe next year you can create a "peep show."
ReplyDeleteOMG, those are SO FUNNY! Love the McDonald's theme! Do you think if you freeze them you can just pull them out and use them for next year?!
ReplyDeleteKendall: Freezing the little Mcpeeps came to mind but I was also afraid that it may be the first signs of a hoarder. Have you seen that show on the A&E channel?! Eek!
ReplyDeleteI love it!!! You're soo creative Dlo!!
ReplyDeleteHa!! This is awesome. And genius.
