Oscar In Disguise

I'm stoked to announce that the paint job in Operation Oscar's Room is officially done! Done. Done. Done! Just a few paint touch ups are in order and then we're (almost) golden.

In the coming weeks we are getting down to the nitty gritty with some DIY baseboards. Wish us luck!

Much like fake-Locke, this is now definitely fake-Oscar's room.

What's in store for us until then you ask?

The 1,060+++ Lego Project is in the works.

For reals.

  2. Thanks Jenn! Chris didn't want to post a full view shot until the room is completely finished. But as Jem would say, "it's truly outrageous!"

  5. Shut the front door! Did you just use a Jem Truly Outrageous reference? She was my alter ego when I was little. I used to blame everything bad I did on her. The ironic part? I figured out when I was a little older that Meg spells Gem backwards. Hmmm...

But, I digress. That room is insane! I can't wait to see the whole shot! And the 1,060+++ lego project in the works? For realsies? Can't wait!!!

  8. Meg: lol, you are a hoot! I guess I should have mentioned that during the rigorous paint job, I was singing G rated tunes. Everything from Disney movie classics to 80's cartoon themes, so I guess Jem was still fresh in the brain. :)

  10. Wow, can't wait to see what happens with the Lego's!

I love your color choices. And I love that you are using so much of it! I know the trend right now is white, white, white, but I enjoy seeing people go against the flow.
